Abstract

Decarbonizing the financial system is essential for mitigating climate change and reaching global Net Zero emissions objectives. This paper explores more than a few policies and strategies vital for transitioning to a low-carbon economy. It begins by studying the current kingdom of carbon emissions and their impacts on the surroundings and society. The paper then evaluates various decarbonization methods, including renewable electricity adoption, power performance upgrades, and technological innovations. Key policy frameworks consisting of carbon pricing, regulatory measures, and monetary incentives are tested for their effectiveness in riding emission reductions. The function of international cooperation and personal area involvement is also mentioned, highlighting case studies of successful decarbonization efforts. Finally, the paper outlines tips for policymakers to layout and implement effective strategies tailored to unique economic contexts.
